Not only did he build me up from scratch to a competent and confident driver, he spent a bit of time at the end of each lesson asking me to assess how I thought I was progressing with each aspect of driving. This allowed me to be self-critical and realistic as to where I stood on my learner driver journey. With his help, and in a very short space of time, I went from a nervous driver to being able to pass first time. I honestly couldn’t have done it without him! Khaled “Mr Driving” is a fantastic driving instructor who goes the extra mile for his clients to make sure they do not just pass their test but come away with the skills they need to drive safely and confidently. I felt extremely well prepared for my test, which I passed on the first attempt thanks to Khaled’s instruction. In addition to being highly knowledgeable about cars and driving and the road tests, Khaled is highly perceptive at identifying clients’ habits and needs and focusing lessons where they will be most effective. As someone with a lot of non-UK driving experience but very uncomfortable on Edinburgh’s roads, I appreciated how Khaled proactively drew out my strengths and built on them to address the areas that I needed to learn and improve. He flexibly accommodated my professional work schedule and was very supportive throughout the process from first appointment to successful test.
Since you will spend a lot of time in close company with him in the car, it is important to know that Khaled is respectful, humane, and a pleasure to know. He makes it clear that he really takes pride in the success of his clients and is driven to help you succeed
